Age and Physical Para Meters
1. Soldier General Duty:
Age limit: 17 1/2 to 21 yrs
Physical Para Meters: Height 160cms , Weight – 48 Kg, Chest 77/82
2. Soldier Technical:
Age limit: 17 1/2 to 23 yrs
Physical Para Meters: Height 157cms , Weight – 48 Kg, Chest 77/82
Educational Qualification:
1. Soldier General Duty: Class 10th simple pass. Class 8th for Scheduled Tribes.
2. Soldier Technical: (a) Class 10+2 simple pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English with minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
OR
(b) 10th class pass with minimum 50% marks in aggregate if three years diploma in Engineering from an AICTE recognized institute.

DOCUMENTS TO BE BROUGHT AT RALLY SITE:
1. Photographs. Latest (Not more than six (06) months old) 12 (Twelve) copies of latest passport six colour photographs with blue/white background with visible date on photo.
2. Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) Issued by DC/ADC/EAC his signature and colour photo of candidate on it.
3. Birth Certificate. For non-metric, Birth Certificate signed by Registrar of birth & death with round stamp.
4. Caste certificate Issued by ADC/EAC/an officer authorised by the DC, with office seal and colour
photo of candidate on it.
5. Character certificate. Issued by Village Sarpanch/ Gaon/Burha/Principal/ Police Station (within six months).
6. Unmarried Certificate Candidates below 21 years must bring unmarried certificate signed by Gaon Burha/village headman not more than six months old.
7. Education Certificates/Documents.
(a) Matriculate and Above Candidates Admit Card, marks sheet and board certificate of class 10th and 12th.
(b) Non Matriculate Candidates Transfer certificate and mark sheet of class 8th countersigned by Inspector of Schools and District Education Officer with rubber stamp, round stamp and mobile No of signing officer.
8. Documents for SOEX. SOS. SOW. SOWW Relationship Certificate issued by Record Office.
9. Documents for Gorkha Candidates. Gorkha Certificate issued by village sarpanch/community or local Gorkha organization (approved by the state government and an affidavit (on non judicial stamp paper of Rs 10/-) issued by notary public.
