Age, Pay Scale and Qualification:
1. Draughtsman
Age: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 2800 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
(i) 10  Plus  2  with  Science  Subjects  from  a recognized Board; and
(ii)  having two years Certificate in  Architecture or Draughtsmanship from a recognized Institute or equivalent;
or
Possessing    two    years    National    Trade    Certificate    for Draughtsman  (Civil)  from  a recognized Institute  and  having one year practical experience in the trade.
2. Supervisor Stores
Age: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 2400 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification: (i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent; and (ii) Possessing certificate in Material Management or Inventory Control or Stores Keeping from a recognized institution. or Possessing two years experience in handling of Engineering Stores in Central Government or State Government Department or establishment. or Possessing Class-I Course for Storeman Technical as laid down in Defence Service Regulations, (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
3. Supervisor Nursing:
Age:  18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 2400 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
(i) 10+2   pass   with   science   from   a   recognized   Board   or equivalent:
(ii)  possessing  certificate  in Nursing from  a  recognized  institute with three years experience as Nurse in a Government of Private Hospital or Nursing Home;
or
Having  passed  Class  I  Course  for  Nursing  or  equivalent  as  laid down  in  Defence  Service  Regulations  (Qualification  Regulations for   Soldiers)   from   office   of   Records   or   Centres   or   similar establishment of Defence.
4. Hindi Typist
Age: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1900 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
i)  10+2 from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
ii) Typing  speed  30  word  per  minute  in  Hindi  on  Computer  (30 words per minute correspond to 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 Key depressions for each word).
5. Vehicle Mechanic
Age: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1900 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
i)  Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
ii)  Possessing Certificate of Mechanic in Motor Vehicle / Diesel / heat Engine.
or
Possessing   certificate   of   mechanic   in   internal   Combustion Engine / Tractor from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent;
or
Having  passed  the  Defence  Trade  Certificate  from  an  Army Institute,  or  similar  establishment  of  Defence  or  having  passed Vehicle Mechanic  Class  2  Course  as  laid  down  in  Defence Service   Regulations,   (Qualification   Regulations   for   Soldiers) from  office  of  Records  or  Centres  or  similar  establishment  of Defence.
6. Welder:
Age: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1900 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
i)  Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
ii) Possessing   Welder   (Electrical   &   Gas)   Certificate   from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent,
or
Defence  Trade  Certificate  from  an  Army  Institute  or  similar establishment  of  Defence  or  equivalent  and  having  one  year experience as welder from Army Workshop;
or
Having  passed  the  Class-2  Course  for  Welder as  laid  down  in Defence   Service   Regulations,   (Qualification   Regulations   for Soldiers)   from   office   of   Records   or   Centres   or   similar establishment of Defence.
7. Multi Skilled Worker ( Pioneer):
Age: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1800 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
(i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent and
(ii) Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organization guidelines.
(iii) Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organization guidelines.
8. Multi Skilled Worker (Mess Waiter):
Age: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1800 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
(i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent
(ii)  Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
(iii)   Should   qualify   physical   tests   as   per   Border   Roads Organisation guidelines.
(iv)  Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines
9. Multi Skilled Worker (Nursing Assistant):
Age: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1800 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
(i) 10+2 with Biologyfrom a recognized Board; and
(ii) Passed  First  Aid  course  prescribed  by  St.  John  Ambulance Brigade conducted by St John Ambulance Association
OR
Passed Class II course for Nursing Assistant from Armed Forces Medical Services.
(iii)  Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
(iv) Should   qualify   physical   tests   as   per   Border   Roads Organisation guidelines.
(v) Should  meet  physical  and  medical  standards  as  per  Border Roads Organization guidelines.
10. Multi Skilled Worker (Safaiwala):
Age: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1800 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
(i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent.
(ii) Should qualify physical tests as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
(iii)  Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organization guidelines.
11. Multi Skilled Worker (Driver Engine Static):
Age: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1800 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
(i)  Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent ; and
(ii) Possessing  certificate  of  Mechanic  Motor  /Vehicle  /  Tractors from  Industrial  Training  Institute  /Industrial  Trade  Certificate  / National  Council  for  Training  in  the  Vocational  Trades  /  State Council for Vocational Training.
OR
Passed Class 2 course for Driver Plant and Mechanical Transport as  laid  down  in  Defence  Service  Regulations.    (Qualification Regulations  for  Soldiers)  from  office  of  Records  or  Centres  or similar establishment of Defence.
(iii)  Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
(iv)   Should   qualify   physical   tests   as   per   Border   Roads Organisation guidelines.
(v) Should  meet  physical  and  medical  standards  as  per  Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
12. Multi Skilled Worker (Mason)
Age: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1800 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
(i)   Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent ; and
(ii) Possessing  certificate  of  Building  construction/Bricks  Mason from  Industrial  Training  Institute  /  Industrial  Trade  Certificate  / National  Council  for  Training  in  the  Vocational  Trades  /  State Council for Vocational Training
OR
Passed  Certificate  Class  II  for  Mason  as  laid  down  in  Defence Service  Regulations  (Qualification  Regulations  for  Soldiers)  from office of Records / Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
(iii)  Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
(iv) Should   qualify   physical   tests   as   per   Border   Roads Organisation guidelines.
(v) Should  meet  physical  and  medical  standards  as  per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
13. Multi Skilled Worker (Cook):
Age: 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1800 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
(i)  Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent ;
(ii)  Should qualify in proficiency test in the trade to be conducted by Border Roads Organisation.
(iii)   Should   qualify   physical   tests   as   per   Border   Roads Organisation guidelines.
(iv)  Should meet physical and medical standards as per Border Roads Organisation guidelines.
14. Driver Mechanical Transport (Ordinary Grade):
Age: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1900 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
i)  Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
ii)  Possessing a heavy Motor vehicle driving licence:
or
Having  passed  class  III  Course  for  Driven  Plant  Mechanical Transport   as   laid   down   in   Defence   Service   Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence
15. Driver Road Roller (Ordinary Grade):
Age: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 2400 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
i)  Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; and
ii) Possessing  a  heavy  Motor  vehicle or  Road  Roller driving licencewith experience of six months in Road Roller Driving;
or
Having  passed  class  II  Course  for Driver Plant and Mechanical Transport   as   laid   down   in   Defence   Service   Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
16. Operator Excavating Machinery (Ordinary Grade)
Age: 18 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 Plus Grade Pay Rs 1900 (As per 6th Pay Commission)
Qualification:
i)  Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent;
ii)  Possessing a heavy Motor vehicle driving licence:
or
Driving  licence  for  Dozer/Excavator  and  six  months  experience in driving Dozer/Excavator,
or
Having   passed   class   II   Course of   Operator   Excavating Machinery   as   laid   down   in Defence   Service   Regulations (Qualification Regulations for Soldiers) from office of Records or Centres or similar establishment of Defence.
Center for trade test: Candidates residing in the states of Orissa , West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh,  Bihar, Sikkim, Assam and all other states of North- Eastern region i.e. Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland , Arunachal Pradesh & Tripura will mention  their trade test centre as  Tezpur zone.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay the application fee (Non-Refundable), to be deposited directly in favour of Commandant, GREF Centre, Pune 411015, in Public Fund Account No. 11182905409 of State Bank of India, Khadki Branch Pune Code No. 01629. The candidate must attach the counterfoil of the application fees so deposited with his application form.  However, the core banking system is not functional candidates may enclose Crossed Bank Draft. Fee is Rs 50 for UR/OBC Candidates, no fee for SC/ST/PWD Candidates.

HOW TO APPLY
(a) Application will be filled up in English/Hindi only.
(b) No candidate will send more than one application for the same post. The candidature may be cancelled, if candidate applied more than one application for one post.
(c) Candidate should affix latest photograph in application form and Admit Card. The candidate should be in possession of adequate number (Min 08) of photographs with him.
(d) Candidates applying for more than one post should send separate application with separate fee. One envelope should contain one application for one post only. However, dates for trade test will be decided by the Department.
(e) If a candidate has changed his name or dropped or added part of his name after Matriculation/SSC/Hr Secondary/Sr Secondary he will be required to submit, an attested copy of Gazette Notification to the effect that he has changed his name after matric or otherwise for appearing in Trade Test. The changed name should also have been indicated in the Gazette Notification.
(f) Candidates are advised to go through the general instructions carefully as mentioned against Advt No. 01/2016. Candidate should carefully go through all the provisions in the advertisement to ensure that he is eligible for the post for which he is applying in terms of requirements of age, educational qualification etc. AS ON CLOSING DATE.
(g) Copies of certificate for proof of residence, essential educational qualification, date of birth and caste certificate etc should be enclosed with application form. All testimonial copies be attested by Gazetted Officer or self attested. The caste certificate for SC/ST/OBC should be as per format at Appendix ‘B’ & ‘C’ respectively. SC/ST/OBC Certificate (date of issue should not be older than one year as on closing date for OBC Candidates), should be signed by competent authority and should have OFFICE ROUND SEAL AND APPOINTMENT SEAL DULY AFFIXED ON it at the place provided.
(h) Proof of residence issued by the competent authority. Gorkhas of Indian domicile, will produce Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) issued by the competent authority.
(j) Any certificate in language other than Hindi or English should be enclosed with translation in Hindi or English duly attested by a Group A Gazetted officer.
(k) SON OF SERVING / EX GREF PERSONS SHOULD WRITE THEIR FATHER’S PARTICULARS i.e. GS NO, RANK AND NAME, ON THE TOP OF THE APPLICATION IN RED INK AND ATTESTED PHOTOCOPY OF THEIR DEPENDENCY CERTIFICATE OF EMPLOYMENT FROM OC UNIT/DISCHARGE CERTIFICATE SHOULD BE ENCLOSED.
(l) EXPERIENCE CERTIFICATE (WHEREVER REQUIRED) FROM PRIVATE EMPLOYER SHOULD BE ON PRINTED LETTER HEADS QUOTING THEIR REFERENCE NUMBER WITH RUBBER SEAL THE CERTIFICATE MUST INDICATE REGISTRATION NUMBER CST NO, TIN NO. NATURE OF WORK DONE, PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT WITH DATE AND MONTHLY SALARY.
(m) CASUAL PAID LABOURERS are required to attach experience certificate indicating CPL Code number signed by OC unit, countersigned by Commander BRTF and duly verified by concerned Accounts Officer with their application. The Casual Paid Labourers (CPL) should forward their application to Commandant GREF Centre, Pune.
(n) The Casual Paid Labour who has worked for a minimum period of six months as CPL in GREF and working/mustered in the organization on the day of publication of Advt in newspapers is only eligible for consideration against CPL Categories. A Certificate from OC Unit, duly countersigned by Commander TF as a Proof for his working at present as CPL is mandatory. The candidate already working in other Central/State Govt. department may apply through proper channel.
(o) Candidates are required to super scribe the word APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF____________ Category UR/SC/ST/OBC , WEIGHTAGEPERCENTAGE IN ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION______on the top of the envelope while sending the application form.
