Applications are invited in the Standard Form published in part-IX of the Assam Gazette from the intending candidates for filling up of following posts of Lower Division Assistant (LDA) in the District Legal Services
Authority, Golaghat.
Vacancy Details:

Qualification:  HS or equivalent from any stream from recognized Board./ Council etc. He/she must have proficiency in computer operations (MS Word/ any word processing software and MS Excel of spreadsheet software).
Scale of pay: Pay Scale Rs. 5,200 – Rs. 20,200 + GP 2,200
Age limit: age limit of 18 to 38 years (Relaxation as per Govt, rules).
How to apply:
(a) The applicants must submit their applications in the Standard Form of application published in the Assam Gazette Part – IX with self attested photocopy of caste certificate (if any) and one recent passport size photograph. No other document/testimonials should be submitted along with the application form.
(b) Completed applications should be addressed to “The District & Sessions Judge and Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Golaghat, PIN 785621, Assam” and should be dropped in the “Drop Box” Labeled as ” Drop Box for Applications for the post of LDA under DLSA, Golaghat” to be kept at the premise of Office of the undersigned within the stipulated date & time as in para 1 of this advertisement.
(c) Candidates who qualify in the written examination will have to produce all testimonials in original, in terms of his/her Age, Caste, and Educational Qualification etc. during viva – voce. Candidates will bring a photocopied set of testimonials to viva – voce.
Terms and conditions:
(a) List of the candidate who qualify the written examination will be published in the office Notice Board and in the official website of the District Judiciary, Golaghat, http://golaghatjudiciary.gov.in/.
(b) Selected candidates will receive their appointment letters by post at their respective “present address” as specified by them in their application form.
(c) Canvassing by any means will immediately lead to rejection of candidature.
(d) Candidates who are already in the Government services must submit “No Objection Certificate” from appropriate authority at the time of interview.
(e) The certificate for claiming reservation must be issued by the competent authority and the same in original must be produced before the selection committee at the time of interview.
(f) Experience in the relevant field will be counted.
(g) Resection of candidates belonging to different categories will be as per rules.
(h) The office of the undersigned reserves the right to alter/modify or change any of the terms and conditions including selection criteria etc. mentioned in the advertisement.
(i) The admission of candidates at all stages of the selection process will be purely provisional and subject to their satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions by way of furnishing documentary evidence in support thereof. If on verification at any time before or after the selection process, it is found that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility condition, his/her candidature shall stand cancelled. Mere calling of candidate to the written test/Viva – voce does not necessarily mean acceptance of candidature.
(j) No candidate shall be eligible for appointment if he/she, after undergoing such medical examination as Government may specify, is found to be not good mental or bodily health and not free from any mental or physical defect likely to interfere in the discharge of his duties.
(k) No person who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living or who, having a spouse living has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible for appointment to the service.
(L) Any information submitted by an applicant in his/her application will bind the candidate personally and if found to be false shall be liable for criminal prosecution apart from civil law.
(m) The office of the undersigned reserves the right to cancel the advertisement, alter any terms and conditions of the advertisement at any stage.
(n) All other matters regarding the recruitment process which are not specified herein shall be as decided by the selection committee taking note of the guidelines of the Hon’ble Gauhati High Court rules.
