Qualification: 3 (Three) Years full time B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry & Maths and must have experience in handling state of the Art instruments viz. HPLC, XRF, WDXRF, GC, ICAP. AAS, Auto analyzers D-86/1160 and flash point etc. in Petroleum/Petrochemical/Gas Cracker/large industrial units.
Note: Candidates possessing the prescribed qualification but without prescribed experience may also apply. In the event of non-availabiiity of candidates/ sufficient no. of candidates with prescribed qualification but without prescribed experience, candidates shall be appointed as Trainee for a period of 18 months on a consolidated stipend of Rs.15,250/-p.m. Upon satisfactory completion of the training in the respective functional areas, they shall be absorbed in regular scale of pay of Rs.11,900-32,000.
a) Candidates with not less than 40% disability are only eligible to apply.
b) Candidates should submit the certificate of disability issued by a medical board duly constituted by the Central or State Govt.
b) Graduate Engineers/MBAs will not be considered for the post.
c) “Large Industrial Units” would be reckoned in line with the definition of large scale industries given under Ministry of Industries/ other authorities.
The prescribed educational qualification should be a full time course from a Govt, recognized Indian University/lnstitute as a regular course. In case of candidates possessing the above qualification & have successfully completed 1 (One) year of
Apprenticeship Training in the relevant trade under the Apprenticeship Act of 1961 & Apprenticeship (Amend-
ment) Act 1973, the period of apprentice training in relevant trade will be considered as experience. However,
in such cases no additional age relaxation shall be allowed. Any training period other than apprenticeship
training as mentioned above, will not be considered as experience.
SELECTION METHODOLOGY:
• Selection would be based on Written Test/Trade test (Wherever applicable) and Personal Interview. The candidates will have to pass successfully through each stage of the selection process and pre- employment medical fitness as applicable for PWDs for being adjudged suitable for selection.
• Filling up of vacancies is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for appointment, if vacancies are not filled due to unsuitability of candidates / insufficient number of candidates.
• The candidature of the applicant for the above post shall be treated as provisional and is subject to subsequent verification of all supporting certificates/ testimonials meeting the above stipulated eligibility criteria.
